Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The purpose of this role is the development and implementation of logic and embedded firmware for specific applications and systems. FW Engineer plans, improves, and manages embedded firmware applications from inception to use.Job responsibilities:

  • Research, design and development for cutting-edge real-time embedded systems using HDL, C/C++
  • Design and develop logic and an embedded driver in software defined radio receiver
  • Analyze complex scenarios with focus on performance and stability
  • Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology, and tools
  • Work collaboratively with professional developers, system architects, and product managers to deliver high quality technical solutions
Requirements:
  • At least BSc or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in HDL using FPGAs, C/C++ across multiple architectures
  • Hands-on experience with HDL using FPGAs, C/C++ in real-time signal processing embedded system of DSP, FPGA in high speed wireless communication and in SDR
  • Highly motivated and disciplined
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment measurements for power, spectrum, and waveform quality
Other requirements:
  • Team player experienced in working in agile environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
  • Passion for Firmware Development and technology in general
