Job Description

Job Title: Senior Faade InspectorLocation: Abu DhabiJob Type: Full-timeJob Overview:We are seeking a Senior Faade Inspector to oversee the inspection of faade systems on construction projects and ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The Senior Faade Inspector will be responsible for overseeing the work of other inspectors, coordinating with project managers and contractors, and preparing reports on inspection findings.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of faade systems on construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
  • Oversee the work of other faade inspectors and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure inspections are scheduled and completed on time
  • Prepare reports on inspection findings and provide recommendations for corrective action when necessary
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals related to faade systems
  • Attend meetings with project teams to provide updates on inspection progress and discuss any issues or concerns
  • Provide technical expertise on faade systems and serve as a resource for project teams and other inspectors
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures during all inspections
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections and prepare reports as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in faade inspection, preferably in a construction or engineering environment
  • Knowledge of faade systems and related codes and standards
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and other technical documents
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
