Job Description

Our client a leading Oil & Gas organization having various projects onshore and offshore is looking for Senior Designers and Designers - Civil for the Abu Dhabi location. Its an Onshore project - Layout Project.Overview / Responsibilities:The candidate will carry out assigned civil and structural design work as part of a multi-discipline project team

  • To promote safe behavior at all times
  • Maybe required to perform site surveys and data gathering exercises at various project locations
  • To provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Projects, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements
  • To provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering and construction.
  • Preparation and checking of all types of civil and structural design deliverables such as General Arrangement Drawings, civil earthworks drawings, structural drawings, 3D Models, structural steel details, Material Take-Offs
  • Interdisciplinary check of all Civil / Structural / Piping / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation drawings
  • Review of vendor drawings for Equipment / Package items
  • Produce drawings in AutoCAD
  • To assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Excel and Word
  • Experience of 3D modelling using E3D, SP3D
  • Must be able to work to an agreed scope, budget and schedule
  • An active listener with the ability to focus on customer requirements
  • Experience in the preparation and co-ordination of Civil and Structural design deliverables
  • Compliance with industry, international and client Codes and Standards
  • Maintain suitable records of correspondence and work completed for reference and auditing purposes.
  • Must be eligible and willing to make occasional visits to Basra, Iraq
  • Onshore Oil and Gas related Civil / Structural design experience
  • Extensive experience with prefabricated, packaged plant design
RequirementsSkills / Qualifications:
  • Diploma or HNC in Civil engineering (or relevant subject)
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a civil designer role. Should have experience working on SP3D
  • Knowledge of site-based project work involving field engineering and construction
  • Experience of working with multi-national and multicultural project teams is strongly preferred
  • Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage.
  • Should have worked on ADNOC projects would be added advantage.
  • Nationality - Any.
  • Age below 55 years.
Should have experience working in Oil & Gas projects and worked on SP3D and ADNOC project added advantage.WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN JOIN ASAP.WORK LOCATION - ABU DHABI.
