Parsons creates interconnected communities and world-class infrastructure.POSITION OVERVIEW:The Security Specialist understands and has experience working with security systems, including testing and commissioning procedures related to security systems in accordance with UAE and international standards.? The specialist shall also be experienced in: security systems design, integration, testing and commissioning, and the principles of operation requirements; validating the quality of the head-end system testing and performance criteria, setting the acceptable levels of system during normal and abnormal operations conditions, and end device configuration and installation; CNL and can coordinate software development with the contractor, as well as work with cad software and maps.The role requires the candidate to ensure security systems readiness for operation as part of the ORAT stages, performing all required tests as the stakeholders are gaining confidence of the systems. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing security systems testing strategies across the organization. In addition, the Security Specialist will participate in witnessing the installation, commissioning, maintenance, support, and performance of all security systems ORAT trials, support client and its stakeholders in operations readiness, transfer and hand over.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:????????? Define the performance test cases that will test the overall security systems, including systems integration, systems functionalities and Data Center technologies as part of the ORAT scope of work.????????? Conduct tests and internal checks to confirm the system is ready for ?go-live?.????????? Define the required migration plan, steps, procedure, constraints, risks, business continuity plan for ?failover?, and all required details for the Southside Security Data Center migration to MTB Data Center.????????? Develop ?failover? scenarios to overcome any issues that may arise during switchover from Southside Terminals to the MTB.????????? Work around security systems data center team ready plan with respect to concept of operations, processes and any other documentations required for security systems ready for take over.????????? Evaluate the current projects deliverables against the original scope of work to assist the security team in handing over procedure.????????? Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
