Job Description

A sales manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue. The sales manager will oversee the sales process, develop and implement sales strategies, and build strong relationships with clients. They will also be responsible for training and coaching the sales team, analyzing market trends, and identifying new business opportunities.Responsibilities:

  1. Set sales targets and develop sales strategies to achieve them
  2. Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives
  3. Provide guidance and support to the sales team to ensure they meet their targets
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key clients
  5. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  6. Develop and implement sales training programs for the team
  7. Monitor and report on sales performance and provide feedback to the team
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and developments
  10. Attend sales meetings, trade shows, and conferences
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Proven experience as a sales manager or in a similar sales role
  2. Excellent leadership and management skills
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  4. Ability to motivate and inspire a team
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  6. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  7. Knowledge of market trends and competitor activities
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  9. Flexibility to travel as required
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
