If you want to be a part of our unwavering team and can bring your sense of imagination and determination to every challenge, then this is the right place for you.Stantec is looking to hire a Safety Engineer to ensure effective implementation of safety management system and plans.JOB ACCOUNTABILITIESMonitor, Implementation of approved project health and safety plan.Audit compliance with HSE project and local regulations and procedures.Promote site awareness, Inspect fixed and mobile plants and equipment.Investigate construction incidents and accidents.Participate in the development of safety programs.Participate in the project HSE training programs.Conduct safety inspections and try to eliminate unsafe practices and conditions.Suggest ways to fix unsafe conditions in the work areas.Prepare comprehensive reports on safety performance.Train on-site personnel in safety.Coordinate with contractors health and safety team.Monitor compliance with project environmental requirements and report environmental.Hazards and violations.Title:Safety EngineerQualifications:EXPERIENCEThree (3) to five (5) years experience in safety management.QUALIFICATIONSBS Degree in Engineering.Certificate from Internationally recognized safety bodies.
