Resident EngineerJob Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities:•Act as the clients representative on site and lead the supervision team.•Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract documents.•Review and approve IRs/MIRs, shop drawings, method statements, and as-built drawings.•Monitor quality, progress, and HSE performance and highlight delays or non-conformities.•Chair/attend site meetings, issue site instructions, and coordinate with contractors, authorities, and stakeholders.•Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and support in claims / variations review.Requirements:•Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.•5+ years experience in construction supervision, including previous RE/Deputy RE roles (consultancy experience preferred).•Strong knowledge of building/infrastructure standards, specifications, and contract administration.•Proven leadership, coordination, and communication skills with multi-disciplinary teams.•Familiarity with local authority requirements in the UAE/GCC.•Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
