  • Collaborate with research faculty, principal investigators, and other stakeholders to develop procurement strategies that align with research objectives while adhering to university policies and funding requirements
  • Identify, evaluate, select vendors based on research requirements and ensure timely and quality delivery of goods and services
  • Receive and review procurement requests from research faculty and staff to determine appropriate procurement methods, such as competitive bidding or sole-source procurement, and process purchase requisitions in compliance with university procurement policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with university policies, research grant guidelines, and funding agency regulations. Maintain documentation and records related to procurement processes, including approvals, bid evaluations, and contract documentation
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships while overseeing the evaluation, negotiation, and management of contract terms, including pricing, deliverables, and intellectual property rights.
