Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading developer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyorÿto join their team.ÿThis role demands a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring precise cost estimation, effective quantity surveying practices, and adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.<br /><br />Responsibilities:<br />- Assist in developing comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and associated costs.<br />- Collect and verify quantity measurements on site, preparing detailed quantity survey reports.<br />- Provide technical advice and assistance on all facets of quantity surveying activities to support informed decision-making.<br />- Actively participate in site visits and contribute to the preparation of detailed reports as directed by the project manager.<br />- Identify potential risks associated with project costs and offer recommendations for effective risk mitigation strategies.<br />- Assess the impact of variations and change orders on project costs and timelines, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.<br />- Assist in reviewing and monitoring actual expenditure against budget for contractors and subcontractors.<br />- Collaborate with the project team to resolve any quantity or cost-related issues that may arise during the project execution phase.<br />- Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and manage expectations.<br />- Ensure strict adherence to contractual and legal obligations related to quantity surveying and cost control.<br />- Stay updated with the latest industry trends through continuous learning and exploration, actively engaging in professional development activities.<br /><br />Requirements-ÿBachelors degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related fields<br />- 4+ years in quantity surveying role with at least 1 year of experience in the Middle East region in real estate construction supervision projects.<br />- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing quantity surveying software and tools like Primavera, Revit, AutoCAD, Estimate/Schedule Transfer tools, Contract Manager, and DMCS (Document and Materials Control System)<br />- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)ÿ<br />-ÿFluent in English, Arabic is a plus<br /><br /><b>Preferred Skills:</b><b><br /></b>- Strong presentation, interpersonal, public speaking, technical writing skills and business acumen<br />- Comprehension and adeptness in navigating construction contract commercial documents, drawings, and specifications.<br />-ÿAdept at building and maintaining trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholdersÿ ÿ ÿ ÿ<br />-ÿExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to deal with clients on a daily basis in high-pressure environments<br />-ÿWell-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and a team playerÿ ÿ<br /><br />Benefits- Attractive Salary Packageÿ<br /><br />
