We are looking for purchasers for one of our clients.Job description:-Should have knowledge of industrial chemicals and packaging material.-Should have connections with raw material suppliers.-Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.-Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews and analysis to assess their quality.-Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests.-Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards-Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules-Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit their company.-Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.-Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with record-keeping and data tracking.-Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards.-Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules.-Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure fair pricing terms.-Reviewing bids from suppliers to determine which supplier offers the best price and quality of product.-Ordering raw materials as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels.
