Psychologist (Pediatric Experience)Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesResponsibilities:•Conduct comprehensive psychiatric interviews and collect diagnostic data.•Provide a range of psychotherapies, including individual, group, and family therapy.•Offer counseling for couples experiencing marital conflicts.•Apply behavioral methods for treating children and adults, determining the frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy.•Administer and interpret psychometric tests for diagnosis and therapy evaluation.•Participate in research and educational initiatives to enhance treatment methods and techniques.•Stay updated on advances in personality development, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders to support mental health programs.•Advise community organizations and participate in psychological and welfare-related activities.•Provide after-hours or weekend on-call services as required for specific cases or emergencies.•Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.Qualification, Education & Experience:•Masters degree in clinical psychology from an accredited college or university.•Minimum of 2 years experience in the field of clinical psychology.•Strong understanding of medical ethics, particularly regarding the obligation to maintain confidentiality.•Proficient in administering and interpreting intelligence, achievement, interest, personality, and other psychological assessments and measurement tools.•Valid licensure in country of origin and DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.•Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with colleagues, supervisors, patients, and families.
