Parsons is now hiring Contracts Engineer for our rapidly expanding team.Responsibilities:Coordination with site team to ascertain contractual and practical measures to ensure compliance with requirementsAdvice on specific requirements of the contract and performance in accordance therewithAssessing contractual implications of site decisions and optimization of practical contract conditionsMaintaining a working relationship with design, construction, engineering, procurement and legal management to facilitate organizational interfaces supervision of site measurement team, management of monthly valuationsAgreeing valuations and methods of reimbursement with client and Parsons representatives. Setting up and managing site valuation procedures.Liaison and coordination of agreement on valuations with contractorsManaging directives and variations, reviewing client requirements, assessing implications, negotiation of omissions or extra costs, coordination and reporting on the contractual implications of other parties engaged with the worksFinal Accounts management including preparation, submission and agreement with client/Consultant and similarly with the respective subcontractorsQualifications:A Bachelor?s degree (or higher degree) from an accredited college or university is preferredA QS accredited qualification (preferably RICS or equivalent) is preferredTen-years experience in contracts administration level positions supporting large technical programs or construction projectsEffective oral and written communicative skillsAbility to manage large, diversified activities with multiple and competing requirementsAbility to set priorities and manage activities to successful completionKnowledge of the aviation design and construction industry_
