Job Description

Project Analyst Project Analyst Location: Abu Dhabi, AE #job-location.job-location-inline { display: inline; }SynopsisUnder the direction of the Senior Project Manager, the Analyst is responsible for providing analytical and administrative support to all aspects of the Project Management function of the CMO. Key job duties include project coordination responsibilities, development of reports used to inform leadership decision making, research and documentation. In addition, taking accountability for all aspects of scheduling in the HROD & AM Master Plan and its respective strategic projects. The position interfaces with all levels of HROD & AM stakeholders at EtihadAccountabilities

  • Contributes to the day-to-day operation and effective coordination and collaboration within the PM stream of the CMO
  • Provides meeting documentation and contributes to meeting facilitation, when required
  • Provides accurate, timely information to the Senior Project Manager related to projects and task forces status and progress
  • Interfaces with the Senior Project Manager to update plans, schedules, and other related documents
  • Monitors issues, risks and change requests on allocated task forces / projects in close coordination with the Senior Project Manager
  • Supports the Senior Project Manager in the identification of risk and issues and contributes to developing mitigation strategies
  • Prepares periodic project and strategy related reports on performance on-behalf of the Senior Project Manager
  • Contributes to ongoing improvements to CMO-PM approach, processes and tools, and governance model by working closely with the Senior Project Manager and CMO Head
  • Leads data analysis and complex projects within the PM function of the CMO Department
  • Identifies and monitors risks and issues and contributes to developing mitigation strategies
  • Works with the Senior Project Manager and other stakeholders (e.g. Project and Task Force representatives) to develop, analyze, integrate, and maintain strategic project schedules, resources and interdependencies records
  • Performs schedule variance analysis by comparing the baseline to the actual project schedule and promptly reports / escalates when variances occur
Education & Experience
  • A minimum of (1) year in an analyst role
  • Must have full knowledge in developing project plans in MS Projects software
  • Microsoft Power BI is an advantage
  • A bachelor degree
  • Strong command of English language
