Job Description

Our client, an events management firm, is currently looking for a Programming Executive to be based inAbu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible in researching, developing, maintaining, and managing the database of local, regional, and international artists. You will also be responsible for researching and developing market intelligence, developing touring opportunities for all artists supported by the organizationproviding support in all required areas as instructed by senior management.Other job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Researching / monitoring activities of key regional and international festivals, theatres, and cultural organizations.
  • Mapping the local arts sector in MENA region including UAE, providing the annual calendar of key events and programming initiatives.
  • Researching / identifying regional and international artistic opportunities in cooperation with senior management.
  • Keeping up to date with industry events, trends, and conferences globally.
  • Supporting senior management in collaborative development of program elements and/or co-commissions and co-productions in the UAE and worldwide.
  • Attending meetings with senior management ensuring complete pre-meeting agenda, notes, and preliminary research are prepared and briefed to team prior to meeting and taking minutes of meetings throughout all meetings.
  • Growing network and participation of existing regional and international artistic and cultural partners.
RequirementsTo be considered for the role,you need to meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelors degree in Arts, or Event Management is desirable. Alternatively, you may have demonstrated high level industry related experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience working in a similar role.
  • Proficient in the English language.
