The Procurement Director will be responsible for supervising a team of up to 30 personnel and an EPC procurement spends of up to a $1B .Overseeing and providing functional leadership for procurement and sub-contracting.Your responsibilities:Primary responsibilities include the following:?Select, develop, implement, and manage the Procurement process and associated software application and standard Procurement Status Report that can be used at both remote and network connected sites across multiple locations.?Enhance, evolve and continually improve the company?s procurement standards and procedures?Develop and implement an approach and methodology for monitoring the implementation of these systems and procedures.?Develop a standard approach to assessing and managing vendors and third-party suppliers and service providers.Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:Qualification/ Certification:?Level 5 (Advanced) or Level 6 (Graduate) Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).?Up to 20 years? experienceSkills Requirement:?Ability to be hands on as well as view things from a strategic prospective?A flexible approach to working hours which is necessary to facilitate international communication and travel?Ability to influence people even though they are not direct reports?Strategic thinker with the ability to get into the detail when required?Structured and consistent approach to work.Communication:?Strong grasp of the English language and excellent written and presentation skills?Excellent negotiation skillsCore Competencies:?Strong leadership, management and influencing skills.?Highly motivated and high energy.?Proactive, engaging in their approach
