Job Description

Our client, one of the leading healthcare facilities is currently looking for a Pharmacist - Emirati national to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Pharmacists provide pharmaceutical care by monitoring drug therapies, reviewing medication orders, providing drug information, and dispensing appropriate medication to all patients.Due to Emiratization looking for Emirati Nationals.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate pharmacy policy and systems in accordance with established policies of the Hospital and local legislation and regulations
  • To assume a key role in the provision of efficient and effective Pharmacy operations and services in the Hospital.
  • Interpret, transcribe, prepare and dispense out patient drug orders.
  • Responsible for the control and supply of controlled drugs in the pharmacy and maintenance of their inventory.
  • Advise and check nursing units on the proper storage of drugs at and their proper documentation of usage.
  • Perform the professional duties of a Pharmacist in supplying of medications, advising patients on the proper use of medications, and providing drug information to doctors and nurses.
  • Perform the duties of a Purchasing Pharmacist on a rotational basis.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy assistants and pharmacy interns.
  • Conduct in-service education classes for Pharmacy and nursing personnel.
  • Update and maintain required Pharmacy Quality records, listings and reports.
  • Follow MOH and DOH rules and regulations.
RequirementsRequirementsTo be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:
  • 2 Years of experience as a Pharmacist preferred
  • Should have Emirati Family Book
  • Bachelors degree holder in Pharmacy
  • DOH/MOH/DHA licensed or DOH Eligibility Letter
  • Willing for shift rotation and branch shifting duties
Other Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in oral and written English
  • Ability to maintain a confidential work environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact with a variety of people at all levels in the organization
