PainterJob Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities:•Prepare boat surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of paints and coatings.•Mix and match paints, varnishes, gel coats, and other finishing materials according to specifications.•Apply primers, base coats, top coats, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.•Ensure even coverage and smooth finishes, correcting imperfections as needed.•Follow technical drawings and work instructions for color schemes and design details.•Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards.•Maintain and calibrate painting equipment regularly.•Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.•Keep the workspace clean and organized, disposing of waste materials responsibly.•Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.Qualifications:•Proven experience in boat painting, with knowledge of marine coatings preferred.•Skilled in surface preparation, including sanding, grinding, and masking.•Proficient in using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.•Knowledge of different types of marine paints, gel coats, and varnishes.•Attention to detail and a steady hand for finishing work.•Understanding of safety procedures related to paint and chemical handling.•Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces on boats.Preferred Skills:•Certification or training in spray painting or marine coatings.•Knowledge of environmental regulations regarding the disposal of chemical waste.•Experience with color matching and custom finishes.
