PACKAGE CONTROL LEAD Services MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS ? To assist the Package Manager in the organization, management and control of the activities at yard for Platform Fabrication up to Ready for Transportation, and to deputize for him as and when necessary.? To assist Project Control manager for the same, for reporting, coordination, contractual relationship with Contractor, planning, logistics coordination, etc.? To supervise and control all necessary project services activities at yard with his team.? To assist the Package Manager in non-technical liaisons with Austral, handling various general affairs in an assistance and advisory capacity.? To ensure that project control activities are performed in compliance with company rules and guidelines and procedures, using best work practices.? Platform fabrication budget of around 75 MUSD (wellhead platform construction).? Teams managed directly (direct subordinates):5 personsACTIVITIES ? To assist in the definition, establishment, and organisation of the team at yard? To establish a set of Project specific procedures to cover the co-ordination and control of the Package control activities based on Company Rules, Austral CMS, PJC Guidelines, Procedures, and best work practises as per definition of Project Control Manager based in Buenos Aires.? To control the IT needs and services of the Package and ensure adequacy of resources for the Project team activities.? To provide the necessary human resources functions for and co-ordinate the activities in the Package Control Team by informing, supporting and directing personnel in their Package roles, responsibilities and objectives.? Deputize for the Package Manager as and when necessary.? Contract Activities: To implement the contract strategy defined for the Package in compliance with company obligations and procedures (contract management and administration until close-out).? Scheduling: To establish and manage the Package Master Schedule (PMS) and individual contract Work Time Schedules and consolidate the overall progress through identification/follow-up of the critical path and analysis of main deviations incurred during the execution of the Package Works; to review identified deviations and propose accurate measures or adapted corrections.? Cost Control: To control the preparation and review of the initial Package Budget and to supervise constantly, in close coordination with the Project Control Manager and his team., cost control activities, follow-up of budgetary stages and internal/external Project Annual Costs (initial, revised, closure); to implement and optimise constructive implication from concerned packages, alerting relevant managers if necessary.? Documentation & Reporting: To elaborate the specifications to be used by contractors in order to transfer the final technical project documentation to Operations at project close-out; to manage, in collaboration with DCC /Assistant, the EDMS (PRODOM); to control and issuance of internal and external reporting of the Package in due time, ensuring appropriate content and quality of information.CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT ? Working conditions: Resident position at Milan during the end of the detailed engineering and then rapidly based in Abu Dhabi, at construction yard.?
