Job Description

Position SummaryProvides a range of consultation services to team leaders and senior management to develop and implement key strategies and training for creating and sustaining a high-performing organization. Works collaboratively at organization and division levels to ensure business planning, performance monitoring and performance management processes inform and support each other and lead to continuous organisational performance improvement. Creates and implements staff development programs that support the organization?s succession planning objectives and foster highly effective management and leadership structure.Key Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively at organization and division levels to ensure business planning, performance monitoring and performance management processes inform and support each other and lead to continuous organisational performance improvement.
  • Initiate and Assist in organisation assessments, and makes recommendations for change,
  • Identify and intervene in change management initiatives that foster organizational learning and address corporate strategic goals and needs.
  • Proactively addresses and responds to O.D. issues by bringing key stakeholders together to assess root causes and performance gaps, implementing and/or supporting the implementation of appropriate interventions, including strategic planning, tactical and project planning, facilitation, instruction, program design, materials development, and performance analysis.
  • Gives advice and develops interventions about impacts resulting from whole organization changes (i.e., specific projects etc.).
  • Assist in designing new structures and jobs and works to redesign management processes to meet quality standards.
  • Helps establish organization-wide processes that create organisational health and employee satisfaction.
  • Creates and implements staff development programs that support the organization?s succession planning objectives and foster highly effective management and leadership structure.
  • Provides coaching, facilitation, team development, whole systems analysis, process reengineering and organization development services in consultation with executive leaders and senior managers to implement organization improvement initiatives and assure alignment with the organization?s strategic plans.
  • Assist in planning and implementation of change projects and strategies which help realize the Vision, Mission and Strategic Plan of the Organization.
  • Manages the work of outside consultants when used.
  • Develops and implements manager and staff development programs that support the organization?s succession plans.
  • Supports the work of external consultants brought in to do various projects by various groups in the (divisions) by providing them with information about the organization, helping with the implementation of their projects, and ensuring that follow-up assessments of effectiveness are conducted.
  • Be accountable for all OD project deliverables.
