Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

  • Responsible for overseeing the deployment of resources at client sites. Effectively manage the day to day manpower deployment/operations and meet the expectations and targets of the client while adhering to safety procedures, government rules and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be aware of client requirements, manpower types and category, level of knowledge, expected performance etc.
  • Develop a detailed understanding on the types of activities that will be undertaken by the employees deployed at the client site
  • Perform supervisory role for Seaport operations and manage deployment of manpower as per the requirement
  • Handle contingencies and arrange immediate replacements against no-shows.
  • Understand safety precaution and HSE procedure that the client is instructing our employees to abide by
  • Ensure the employees are oriented on client requirements through commonly spoken language
  • Coordinate with relevant Operational staff including Timekeepers and Transport on timely reporting to duty and maintain deployment status ensuring full attendance
  • Ensure attendance sheets are prepared properly and forwarded to DEO (data entry operator) within 24hrs
  • Generate daily and weekly performance reports.
  • Monitor Time & Attendance and ensure timely collection for Payroll closure.ÿ
  • Educate employees on the importance of following client safety procedure, working atmosphere, rest areas/timings and duty timings
  • Keep records of all employee issues and coordinate with Welfare & HR for counseling or issuance of disciplinary letters
  • Perform frontline service recovery if required and escalate problems that they are unable to handle.
  • Ensure the discipline of the staff reporting to him including but not limited ensuring that breaks are documented, proper documentation are submitted
  • Conduct checks on staff performance; ensure that all PPE are used in the correct manner and take action against staff who do not comply.
  • Ensure that staff adheres to the code of conduct and meet the minimum grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular tool box talks and quality inspections at site and ensure workmanship is maintained as per client?s requirements
  • Understand and implement the company safety policies and procedures as described in the Companys integrated management system
  • Will be accountable and responsible for duties as described in the HSE roles and responsibilities document of IMS
