Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONRole : Operations Officer - Treasury Inv & Fund OperationsLocation : Abu Dhabi Role Purpose:Authorize and verify the processing of all Treasury products including deal review, accounting, settlement and enquiries for ADIB UAE, Iraq, Qatar. Perform key control functions for all Treasury transactions. Ensuring adequate record maintenance, MIS reporting and audit co-ordination.Also provide support to Capital Market/Wealth Management team while performing above duties.Key Accountabilities of the role

  1. Verify the deal ticket details with Reuter ticket/other source documents received from front office and approve deals in AG system.
  2. Check and verify outward Swift messages, Creation on-line messages and Wealth Management swift/Central Bank payments. Authorize voucher postings
  3. Investigate customer/correspondent bank inquiries and provide solutions to solve reported issues.
  4. Daily checking of morning, day end payments and Day End Posting reports (MAP recon, Phoenix teller journal Reports & Sungard interface report)
  5. Review FX Confirmation report generated from Intellimatch system. In case of any exception, take appropriate action.
  6. Ensure proper process is followed for all new agreements received for all FX/MM related products.
  7. Approve updates of static data in Avantgard System
  8. Ensure that proper and organized filing / diary system of all department records is maintained and archival is done on a timely basis by dispatching the records to CCU.
  9. Perform reconciliation of transactions / accounts, taking corrective action on outstanding items and escalate any long outstanding items
  10. Prepare and Submit Monthly/Quarterly recons to ICD and BRF Central Bank reports to FCD.
  11. Undertake training programs to improve knowledge in order to enhance role performance.
  12. Maintain discipline, punctuality, good team spirit and service standards
  13. Assist in enhancing job knowledge of trainees
  14. Ensure compliance to ADIB policies, procedures, sharia guidelines, and standards.
  15. Periodically evaluate TIFO operational processes and recommend to line management suitable changes to improve efficiency and controls.
  16. Assist to earn satisfactory audit rating from regulators, Internal Audit and Sharia.
  17. Undertake additional assignments/projects entrusted by the line management and complete them as per target dates
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:Profound knowledge towards TIFO products, preferably FOREX & Money MktOnly UAE Nationals are considered for this role.
