They concentrate primarily on the Designing and Modelling aspects which includes AEC (BIM), Infrastructure, Modular Support specialist, Oil and gas, Offshore Onshore, Refinery, Water Treatment plants, Ships, FPSO, SKID, Pharmaceuticals, Steel Industry, Cement Industry, Warehouse, Processing food and beverages, Hydrocarbon and Power through industry, etc.The JobThe candidate will report operationally to the Lead Pipeline Engineer and functionally to the Head of Pipeline Discipline with regards to his/her main tasks listed hereunder:Study and try to understand the overall project pipeline and subsea flexible scope.Study and implement the requirements of pipeline, riser and subsea flexible design basis and COMPANY codes and standards/ specifications in design.Support on preparation of technical material specifications, datasheets, MR/ SR, TBE and technical construction specifications for pipelines and subsea flexibles.Support on preparation of the following design calculations & analysis reports.Pipeline and subsea flexibles route selection report.Pipeline wall thickness design report.Pipeline and subsea flexible on bottom stability analysis report.Pipeline and subsea flexible additional stabilization design report.Pipeline end expansion report.Pipeline free span and local buckling analysis report.Pipeline and subsea flexible crossing design report.Pipeline global buckling and walking screening study report.Pipeline and subsea flexible OBR analysis report.Riser stress analysis report.Pipeline CP design report.Shore approach design report.Dropped object study report.Pipeline stress analysis report.Pipeline pigging assurance study report.Pipeline and subsea flexible material take off.Study and review the pipeline and subsea flexible drawings (like typical construction detail, overall field layout, route plan, station approach, alignment sheets, crossing details, riser and spool details, shore approach details etc.,)Understand T.EN Quality Norms & procedures and maintain in all the design activities and deliverables. Check prints of the deliverables are properly documented and available for quality audits.Provide assistance and design inputs to lead/ senior engineers in project review meeting, vendor meeting and drafting team for drawings etc.Should be capable of performing assigned tasks with pro-active and co-operative manner within allotted man hours and schedule.Should be willing and capable to learn, practice and implement the detailed design concepts, new software skills and new additional analysis as required for the project requirements.Should be effective communicator in both writing and verbal communication.Ideal CandidateCivil/ Structural/ Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree from reputed college/ university.Post graduation in Engineering and or membership professional bodies will have added advantageWorking ExperienceMinimum 5 years total working experience,out of this minimum 3 years hand on experience shall be in subsea pipelines and flexibles design calculation and stress analysis for oil and gas industry.Software SkillsAdequate working knowledge of software such as Auto PIPE/ CEASAR II, ORCAFLEX, Sage Profile, DNV Software’s (STF101, Stable Line, Fat Free), Mathcad, MS Packages, and AutoCAD etc.,Basic knowledge and interest of developing subsea pipeline and flexible design calculation sheet, python programming, VB Macro development experience will be given a preference.The candidate shall have basic knowledge in subsea pipeline design codes (DNV-ST-F101, DNV-RP-F105, DNV-RP-F109, DNV-RP-F114 & DNV-RP-F110 etc.,) and other applicable standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, BS, ISO, MSS, NACE etc.Ref: MLO0ZER8G3 Company Profile Snaphunt is a specialist recruiting platform that takes the pain out of hiring and job searching.
