Key tasks / duties (not limited to)1. undertaking patient assessments of physical, communication, interaction and cognitive skills2. Meets the patients goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpretingevaluations and test results; determining occupational therapy treatment plans inconsultation with physicians or by prescription.3. Developing a rehabilitation programme to help rebuild lost skills and restore lost confidence;4. Advising on home and workplace environmental alterations, such as adjustments forwheelchair access;5. Teaching anxiety management techniques;6. Assisting people to return to work;7. Mentoring people on how to control their own behavior; liaising with other professionals, suchas Doctors, physiotherapists, equipment suppliers and architects, giving advice and arrangingsupport for family members, carers and clients.8. Writing reports and attending multidisciplinary case meetings to plan and review ongoingtreatment;9. Organizing support and rehabilitation groups for carers and clients;10. managing a caseload, prioritizing needs, and completing administrative tasks such as patientand budgetary records11. planning and providing appropriate treatment/graded activities12. planning further treatment and reviewing progress13. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating inprofessional societies.14. Develops occupational therapy staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs
