Job Description

Generate, analyze and provide insights on weekly trade reports:

  • Store & region level
  • Department/category level
  • Promo analysis
Ad-hoc report preparationAnalyze and evaluate KPIs by storeAnalyze Top & Bottom sellersSize curve analysis preparationPlanning Assistance to Senior Planners:
  • Assist with phasing of Budgets/RFC
  • Assist with providing reports to support OTB Planning
  • Assist with allocations
  • Core line plan maintenance & inventory review
  • SALE/MSS Analysis as per guidance from Senior Planners
Assist with analysis of historical performance of store/categories as a base of Next Year/Seasonal budgeting/forecastingPreparation of departmental reports and Monitor stock levels per territory/store/departmentsPrepare category/range performance report and analyze sell thruWork in liaison with Snr Planners on markdown proposals and suggest strategy for slow moversInbound management
  • Monitor upcoming shipments
  • Preparation of POs & liaise with Logistics team for timely in-warding of shipments and ASN creation
  • Monitor excess/shortages in shipments to accordingly raise POS
  • Reconcile cost variations of intakes vs Financial Invoices and make timely corrections
  • Work closely with Senior Planner to ensure accuracy of hierarchy mapping
  • Work closely with IT team for accurate item registration
Regular store visits to analyze inventory levels vis--vis business reports and initiate replenishment where requiredWork closely with Snr Planners to implement pricing and promotions timely for all territoriesAnalyze cost fluctuation from supplier and suggest appropriate changes in retails and promotional strategy
