Job Description

Position Summary:In the aim of creating memorable experiences for clients and guests, you are expected to take ownership in ensuring that the areas and assigned locations of the premises are presentable and in line with the standard set by the company and guests are provided with a clean, comfortable, and safe space during their visits.Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for public areas whenever assigned by the HK Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
  • Complete the day-to-day housekeeping activities by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering high quality service and clean spaces to all guests.
  • Always ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the assigned areas, and report any breakage, damage, defects, or missing items within the service areas of responsibilities to the team leaders or supervisor for suitable action.
  • Ensure health & safety rules are adhered to and its requirements are strictly complied including, but not limited to, knowledge of the correct usage of all chemicals used in housekeeping, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations.
  • Carries out opening and closing standard housekeeping procedures to ensure that the areas are sanitized and safe. ?Ensure that all equipment are appropriately cleaned and sanitized to maintain the high level of expected cleaning standards.
  • Be respectful and welcoming to all guests and greet them in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Report any suspicious or unwelcoming behaviours exhibited by any guest to the team leader or supervisor for suitable course of action.
  • Participate in any scheduled training and development programs that the company deems to improve individual qualities or organizational standards.
  • Attend all departmental and team mandatory meetings and shift turnover briefings.
  • Be consistent in upholding and maintaining high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at work.
