Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility and equipment. You will be in charge of identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise, as well as implementing preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and identify any potential issues
  2. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as PLC programming and troubleshooting
  3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment
  4. Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for the procurement of spare parts and equipment
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and maintenance reports
  6. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  7. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  8. Stay updated with the latest maintenance techniques and technologies to improve overall efficiency
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimal disruption to production
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role
  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as PLC programming
  4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
  6. Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices and techniques
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
