Job Description

Our client is a holding leading investment company in UAE, seeking a skilled Legal Officer (Hindi Speaker) in Abu Dhabi office.The Legal Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the legal affairs of their organization are handled appropriately and in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Drafting contracts and other legal documents such as wills and trusts
  • Reviewing cases to determine whether they have legal merit
  • Preparing legal papers and briefs, researching legal issues, and drafting legal documents such as contracts, wills, trusts, and business agreements
  • Representing clients in court, negotiating with opposing counsel, and working with clients to develop legal arguments
  • Representing clients in court or other settings, such as depositions or hearings
  • Conducting research on legal issues to support litigation efforts
  • Interpreting laws, regulations, and policies to advise clients about how these apply to their situation
  • Drafting pleadings and motions for court proceedings, including divorce actions, criminal charges, bankruptcy petitions, and appeals of administrative decisions
  • Reviewing and analyzing laws, regulations, and cases related to specific industries such as insurance, banking, or securities trading to advise companies on how to comply with legal requirements.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Masters degree or bachelors degree in law.
  • 10-15 years strong legal experience in corporate, commercial, and general laws, and at least five years experience in UAE laws.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures including regulatory framework.
  • Negotiation and drafting skills and business sense to deal with multiple functional teams in a rapidly scaling business.
  • Outstanding skills in Legal Language for drafting and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English Language
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
  • To work independently as well as part of various business teams.
