Landscape ArchitectMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneJob Summary:The Landscape Architect will work under the direction of an Associate or Senior Landscape Architect in collaboration and coordination of other team members. The role will be responsible for assisting the design studios in the successful delivery of Landscape projects to high standards, in a timely manner and in accordance with the Client?s expectations. Upon employment the Landscape Architect will be required to demonstrate a solid understanding of both the landscape architecture and the necessary computer programs required to deliver projects both graphically and technically to a high standard.Key Roles and responsibilities:+ Demonstrate an understanding of the aesthetic and technical components of landscape architecture.+ Demonstrate an understanding of production techniques, procedures, and standards.+ Demonstrate an understanding of industry codes/standards/health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.+ Demonstrate an understanding of the regional construction industry, local construction methods and their influence on design decisions.+ Demonstrate a team oriented and collaborative approach to Landscape Architecture within the design team.Responsibilities:+ Undertake project related tasks professionally and independently as directed by senior team members.+ Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.+ Show a willingness and ability to further develop in all areas of Landscape Architecture.+ Possess the capacity to manage internal resources efficiently when required to achieve results within defined timeframes.+ Take responsibility and accountability for allocated tasks.+ Further develop technical skills and efficiencies in both standard and specialist computer programs such as Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, Adobe Create Suite, Land FX, and MS office suite programs+ Perform other related tasks as directed.Competencies:+ Possess a strong commitment to quality control for design and technical issues.+ Possess strong communication skills with both internal and external parties.+ Be self-motivated having the ability to work with limited supervision.+ Demonstrate an understanding of key design related computer programs.Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree in Architecture (or equivalent) is required with 4+ years of relevant experience in landscape architecture.Senior Landscape Architect Senior Landscape Architect (Construction)
