Laboratory TechnicianJob Location : UAEDuties And Responsibilities:•Performs the daily maintainance of the biochemistry analyzers.•Performs the daily quality control on all the biochemistry analyzers.•Runs the STAT samples and reports them in the HMS as per the STAT policy.•Informs the critical value/panic value as per the hospital policy.•Transcribes all the biochemistry results in the HMS according to the TAT policy.•Performs serologic assays including card tests for Hepatitis, syphilis and HIV etc•Maintains log books for serology tests and does infectious disease notification to doctors and PCI according to hospital policy.•Participates in the external quality control program.•Does the daily maintenance of the urine analyzer.•Performs the daily quality control on the urine analyzer.•Performs microscopic analysis of urine and stool.•Identifies parasites in stool and urine.•Runs the STAT samples and reports them in the HMS as per the STAT policy•Transcribes the results in the HMS according to the laboratory TAT policy.•Proceeds with culture of the urine and stool samples.•Participates in external quality control program.
