The hotels fitness facilities are located at the top floor and offer great views of the city. Besides a well-equipped fitness room, Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi offers a pool and three massage rooms.We are currently seeking to hire a Junior Sous Chef to join Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi.As Junior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation and ensuring standards are being applied within the operation
  • Work with superiors to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant?s policy and vision;
  • Coming up with new recipes which appeal to the clients, whenever required;
  • Producing high quality dishes that follow the established menu and level up to the hotel standards, as well as to clients? requirements;
  • Planning the food design in order to create a perfect match between the dish?s aspect and its taste;
  • Creating tasting menus for clients interested in contracting the food for different events (wedding, banquets, corporate dinners, birthday parties, etc.) from their kitchen;
  • Developing a cross-marketing strategy in order to increase profit
  • Controlling on a daily basis all food, material and equipment stocks.
  • Take over any other tasks and special projects that arise in the course of business.
Ideally, you?ll have at least two (2) years? experience in a similar role in a 4 stars hotel. Ultimately, you have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, proficient skills for written and oral communicationin English. You will need to be flexible with working hours and having good knowledge of hotel system is preferred.The right candidate always portrays a professional image and possesses strong multi-tasking and admin skills.
