DESIGNATION:Junior Process EngineerTo support production in all heat treatment requirements, this would be operating furnaces, maintaining existing programs and generate new programs as required.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:HEAT TREATMENT1. Responsible for the input and control of cycle programming for new materials 2. Process monitoring and verification 3. Assist production for the overall process of Heat Treatment 4. Furnace Data logs archiving 5. Monitoring and Carry out scheduled leak checks and temperature uniformity surveys (TUS) and record. 6. Training and monitoring of all heat treatment operators 7. Support Engineering in all scheduled checks (furnace, instrument, maintenance) - daily, weekly & annually 8. Monitor & control of all spares and consumables 9. Furnace furniture maintenance (hot zone). 10. Carry out furnace burn out as and when required to suit production schedules 11. Liaise with furnace supplier as and when required on any maintenance or operational issues. 12. Trouble shooting and supporting with technical problems 13. Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requestedBRAZING1. Assist Process Engineer in all aspects of production brazing requirements 2. Training and monitoring of Brazing operator/s 3. Assist in the development , implementation and improvement of the overall brazing process 4. Monitor and control all spares and consumables 5. Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requestedPREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE1. Monitor and analyze generated PM checklist from operators in coordination with Maintenance Department 2. Monitor and verifying corrective action done by the maintenance department as per engineering standards 3. Coordinate with process engineers for the pm checklist generation of process related machines 4. Responsible for back up of history date related to PM checklist 5. Coordination with Maintenance Department regarding all maintenance issues. 6. Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requestedSPECIFIC TASKS:1. N/AADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Take care of self?s health and safety and that of other persons (employees maybe liable) 2. Co-operate with superior and hse officer in the implementation of health and safety 3. Not interfere with anything provided in the interest of health and safety. 4. Report OSH hazards, incidents and issues. 5. Comply with reasonable OSH instructions and safe working proceduresQSHE RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Accountable for doing your job right, first time every time and on time 2. Accountable for personal wellbeing, safety of yourself and other employeesCOMPETENCIES:EducationBachelor DegreeAdditional Training/KnowledgeHeat TreatmentExperienceFamiliarity with and knowledge of products within cell, processes knowledge an advantage Display an acceptable aptitude in verbal and numerical skills. Laboratory experience would be an advantage but not essentialPersonal SkillsGood in English Ability to work in a team Be adaptable in approach & flexible in approach to work. Ability to work with minimum supervision with good attention to detail.
