Job Description

An exciting new role has come up from a prominent family office in Abu Dhabi. They are currently looking for a Junior Investment Analyst.This role will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and research to support investment decisions. The successful candidate will use their financial and analytical skills to evaluate potential investment opportunities, monitor current investments, and develop investment strategies to maximize returns.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investment research and analysis. Investigate market trends, industry dynamics, and company financials.
  • Perform risk analysis and execute portfolio risk management.
  • Monitor capital markets and economic developments to assess changes that affect the investment portfolio.
  • Prepare reports, including quarterly and annual investment reports, and prepare daily investment dashboards. Ensure timely submission of these reports to the chairman.
  • Ensure comprehensive financial reporting for investments, including reconciliation with investment bankers statements and perform variance analysis.
  • Assist chairman for taking investment decisions.
  • Handle additional tasks related to the portfolio as they arise.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • BS in Finance, Business Management, or Accounting.
  • Preferably CFA/CA or similar accreditation
  • Familiarity with market information systems and technical systems like Capital IQ, Factset or Bloomberg.
  • An analytical mind with a keen sense for mathematical patterns and correlations.
  • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Arabic would be a plus.
