Ensures that he is aware of ADCO HSE rules and regulations, workprocedures, job locations, equipment to be worked on, tools andequipment to be used and defining the anticipated start and finish time /date and number of days.o Shall submit permits / certificates (new request or for revalidation) forArea Authority (AA) approval one day in advance and during daylighthours .Attend the PTW meeting with the JO ,AA & HSE on the day before start ofthe activity to revalidate the TRA in case of high risk activity.o Shall attach the TRA for HRA along with the submission of the permit /certificateso On the following day, and before the start time of the task, the JobPerformer shall print out the permit/ certificate and proceed to the worklocation directly waiting arrival of Issuing Authority (IA) and AuthorizedGas Tester (AGT) if gas test is required.The presence of JP or his crew at site does not mean to start the task,before approving and issuing the permit / certificates officially to him byIA. JP who starts the task before the permit / certificate are issued will beconsidered a violator of PTW procedure and Life Protection Rules.Equipment entry into the well site (apart from hazardous area) is coveredby the permit approved by AA and does not consider a violation to PTWprocedure although the permit is not yet approved by IA.o JP is directly responsible for the safety and quality of work and mustensure that the conditions specified on the PTW / Certificates areadhered to and remained unchanged at all time.o Ensures that no other task is performed or other tool is used except asspecifically described on the PTW / Certificate.o Implements the Work Site Precautions as identified by the AreaAuthority and checked by Issuing Authority on the PTW / Certificateand TRA.o Visibly displays the printed out copy of permit / certificate at theworksite during the duration of the work.o It is required to use PDA at remote areas to accept permit / certificateso Conducts a Toolbox Talk (TBT) immediately before commencing the jobo Remains at the worksite during the duration of the work and obtainsJob Originator / Area Authority signature if Job Performer replacementis required.o Immediately suspends work in the event of the Emergency Siren orGeneral Alarm being activated.o JP shall keep using the 1st day permit / certificates copy for the wholeduration period as stipulated in permit / certificates and to be signeddaily at location by him, Issuing Authority and Authorized Gas Tester (ifapplicable).o Shall daily re-validate permits / certificates through the ePTW systemwithout making new prints.
