Job Description

The Site Engineer ITS at Tamas Projects shall be required to oversee and execute the all network and ELV related work on site. The role involves understanding of design with hands on experience in installation, commissioning and testing of related equipment.Major duties and responsibilities:The following are the key duties and responsibilities of the Site Engineer ITS at Tamas Projects. These should be performed within the context of the company values, systems, processes and procedures. Core Responsibilities:

  • Installation, Commissioning of Intelligent Transportation systems (ITS) and Integration with Network Infrastructure
  • Construction supervision of road way ITS Technologies such as Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), Video surveillance cameras(CCTV), Over Height Vehicle Detection Systems(OHVDS), Lane & Speed Control Signs(LSCS), PTZ cameras, Road Weather Information (RWIS), Weigh-In Motion System(WIMS), License Plate Reader Camera(LPR), Magnetometer detection system& Portable Variable Message Signs
  • Configured and Monitor CCTVs Cameras, CCTV work stations, NSM storage, VMS and Fibre Optic Cables
  • Maintain daily check list, as per client requirement. Check all servers and switches availability check and health
Others:The Site Engineer ITS shall from time to time be tasked by the Project Manager on special assignments within the context of this job description and the intended role of a Site Engineer. These may not have been specifically defined herein. The Engineer shall be receptive to these assignments and shall consider them as an integral part of this role.
