The Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated IT consultant to join our growing company. You will collaborate with other technical and nontechnical staff to help ensure the health of our overall IT systems and infrastructure. As an IT consultant, you can put your passion for technology, attention to detail, education, and experience to excellent use by building an up-to-date technology platform for our organization to meet business objectivesResponsibilitiesBelow are some of the responsibilities an IT consultant is expected to assume:

  • Consult with stakeholders from various departments within the company regarding their IT needs
  • Analyze organization?s infrastructure and IT requirements
  • Plan and schedule projects for the organization and various departments
  • Implement IT solutions designed to meet business requirements
  • Train IT staff in accordance with business needs
  • Produce and distribute detailed reports on the state of the company?s technology
Job Qualifications and Skill SetsBelow are the qualifications expected of an IT consultant:
  • Bachelor?s degree in information systems, computer science, software engineering or related field
  • Understanding and experience using database languages such as SQL or Python
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and technical skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with and answer questions from senior executives
