Irrigation EngineerJob Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesResponsibilities :•Assist in designing irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, mainlines, laterals, valves, pumps).•Prepare and update irrigation shop drawings and as-built drawings.•Conduct site inspections to ensure works follow drawings, specs, and standards.•Monitor installation of pipes, fittings, valves, chambers, and irrigation equipment.•Perform basic hydraulic checks (flow, pressure, pipe sizing) and support in pump/equipment selection.•Prepare quantity take-offs and assist in BOQs and cost estimates for irrigation works.•Review irrigation-related material submittals and coordinate with suppliers.•Coordinate with landscape, civil, and teams to resolve design and site clashes.•Assist in testing and commissioning of irrigation systems (flushing, pressure tests, system tuning).•Report site issues (leaks, blockages, low pressure) and support in implementing corrective actions.Requirements :•Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering / Agricultural Engineering / Irrigation Engineering or similar.•Around 3 years of experience in irrigation design and/or site supervision.•Good knowledge of irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, valves, controllers, filters, pumps).•Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.•Basic skills in AutoCAD (and preferably any irrigation/landscape design software).•Familiar with hydraulic concepts (flow rate, pressure, pipe sizing).•Understanding of relevant standards and authority requirements (as applicable to country).•Good communication and coordination skills with site teams, consultants, and contractors.•Ability to work on-site, conduct inspections, and prepare technical reports.•Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and take responsibility.
