Responsibilities & DutiesThe Intern - Project Manager will play a pivotal role in pre-contract project delivery supporting architectural design projects following predictive project management methodologies and be trained to carry out the following:

• Day-to-day assistance to Senior Project Managers in the delivery of projects
• Assist in proposal preparation and tender submission procedures
• Coordinate and collaborate with the Design Team
• Prepare and manage project execution plans, organization charts and status reports
• Work closely and effectively with clients and internal project teams
• Daily program management throughout the program life cycle
• Defining the program governance (controls)
• Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress
• Managing the programs budget
• Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
• Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
• Managing and utilizing resources across projects
• Managing stakeholders communication
• Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the programs outcome with the aid of the business change manager
• Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or related AEC degree from an accredited University
• Must have graduated within the last 12 months or graduating no later than June 2023
• Successful applicants must have a minimum 3.4 GPA or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above
• Candidates must be currently based in the UAE
• If you hold a Masters Degree, you must have started it within 12 months of completing the Bachelors Degree in order to have continuous education
• Methodical approach to problem solving
• Effective time & task management and leadership skills
• Excellent organization and verbal communication skills are essential
• Ability to use initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
• Advanced in Microsoft Office
• Software experience in industry standard project management software is preferred
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail, must be able to demonstrate accurate report writing
• Understanding in Gantt chart programming
