Job Description

Job Title: Insurance Specialist (JD Attached)Reporting to: Chief Financial OfficerRole/Purpose at the job:

  • To undertake activities related to the insurance for the company and its Contractors, Consultants, Suppliers, and Service Providers.
  1. Assess the insurance coverage for Companys properties and ensure they have adequate coverage.
  2. Manage technically all types of insurance affecting Companys interest.
  3. Negotiate with insurance companies the terms and rates of insurance policies.
  4. Facilitate and resolve insurance claims on behalf of the Company with insurance companies and the appointed loss adjusters.
  5. Responsible for all Company Insurance policies such as Property, Medical, Motor ..etc. to protect all Companys rights and interests.
  6. Manage day to day insurance operations of the company
  7. Analyze and communicate risk factors associated with coverage
  8. Renew existing policies
  9. Plan and attend meetings to solve insurance-related problems
  10. Arrange for a regular reconciliation with the insurance companies.
  11. Set the insurance requirements for all Companys tenders.
  12. Review the insurance provided by the contractors, consultants, suppliers and service providers to make sure it has complied with the set requirements,
  13. Perform insurance deduction activities of personnel and reconcile data
  14. Coordinate personnel actions with data processing for insurance deductions
  15. Maintain and process various insurance billings.
  16. Update on daily basis all insurance registers as needed
  17. Assist employees regarding medical coverage within UAE and overseas treatment
  18. Prepare various correspondence, forms reports, and other materials as needed
  19. Assist Employees in Health Insurance reimbursement process claim
  20. Propose any additional coverage needed to protect the companys interest.
