  • Possess knowledge and expertise in service and diagnosis codes across all dental specialties, obtain necessary approvals for procedures, and manage RCM (Revenue Cycle Management)
  • Ensure patient files are complete according to JAWDA and DOH regulations.
  • Assist with insurance billing and processing by accurate invoicing.
  • Communicate and follow up with insurance companies to ensure compliance with eligibility, payment, and approval requirements, and handle problem claims and denials.
  • Educate staff on insurance matters to improve understanding and adherence to policies and procedures, maintain updated records on pre-approvals and reconciliations, and provide regular Excel reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
