We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technician to join our team full time and support the maintenance and operation of our cutting-edge remotely operated unmanned vessel. This unique vessel integrates advanced technologies and systems, requiring an individual with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving.As a technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of the vessel. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the following systems:? Propulsion Systems: Diesel engines, waterjets, and fuel systems.? Power Systems: Generators, inverters, and electrical systems (DC and AC).? Navigation Systems: Redundant navigation and vessel control systems.? Communication Systems: IP-based vessel control via 4G and SATCOMS. Key Responsibilities? Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on engines, waterjets, and other mechanical systems.? Diagnose and resolve issues in electrical and power systems, including inverters and batteries.? Maintain and troubleshoot navigation and communication systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.? Perform diagnostics on the vessel control system and ensure its connectivity over IP networks.? Collaborate with the team to implement upgrades and modifications as required.? Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and system performance.
