Job Description

3 Years in steel Industries for Handling & rectification of sections & sheet piles. Or 5 years of experience in rectification of any steel product.Working under rectification SV, responsible tosegregatethe held material arrived at the yardaccording tothepriority, arrange the material to get it rectified, co-ordinate with the QC inspectors to get the material inspected andup onclearancere-bundle it & keep it at the designated location.Responsible toensure the welders & grinders working in yard are following the safe working procedure &givenwork instructions.Arrangeequipments & lights as per requirement. Monitoring& controlthe usage of tools, machines & consumables.1.Record the attendance & conduct tool box talks about the activity to be carried out. 2.Arrange material for rectification, spread as required & turning to other face for further rectification etc. 3.Always ensure all the forklift working in the area must have banks man. 4.When the held material arrived at rectification yard, verifies with the priority list provided by SV the details of section, type, grade & the held reasons. Segregate & stack according to priority as per priority locations. 5.After rectification is completed then inform the QC inspector to inspected & once it is accepted by QC then re-bundle it, record all the bundle details of the prime material in the available form & prepare the report. 6.Orderly store the Prime products at the allocated prime locations & co-operate with dispatch team to arrange transport & collect all the prime material on daily basis. Avoid storage of Prime for long periods & mixing with non-prime material. 7.Provide full information of any problems, shortfalls of materials, any discrepancies & issues in materials and safety related issues or any other issues arise of the area. 8.Ensures to maintain proper Documentation and maintain all the records & details of the material rectified at the rectification yard. 9.Coordinate with outsourced contractors & other service providers/supplier for any issues related to them on approval of the area SV. 10.Ensure to maintain discipline amongst employees and contractors working in the area with thrust in motivation and development observing their safe working habits.A.Assist HSM Rectification SV & Section Head in implementing safe working practise. B.Assist HSM safety supervisor or safety Inspector to investigate the incidents & environment issues if any. C.If required should work inside the plant as per the management requirement observing all safety procedures following work instructions.
