HSE managerSUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK SCOPE : ?.The Successful candidate will be based in Shenzhen and in charge of the HSE management of Shenzhen site. ?.Be responsible for managing, coordinating and monitoring the health, safety and environmental activities and policies / procedures of the Company by working with operation management and global HSE team. PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ?.Provide leadership and direction to the site HSE management to ensure the compliance. ?.Promote and develop best practices to be implemented. Educate local personnel in HSE policies and programs. ?.Deployment of safety campaigns according to global requirements ?.Set up and implement a zero harm concept and a zero incident strategy, including required documentation as per required requirements. ?.Responsible for HSE risk management, evaluate the risks and hazards to employees, the environment and the public, implement appropriate operational controls, report HSE progress and performance. ?.Organize, collect and report observations of near hits, accidents, incidents and deviations from agreed standards and efficiency report. ?.Understand and interpret local HSE laws and regulations, and analyze the impact to the business in a timely manner to ensure the compliance. ?.Manage the process of identifying on-going and future HSE needs, and develops action plans to meet those needs. ?.Provides support to help business growing with professional advice on HSE risk control. ??.Create and lead teams to support corporate and local HSE objectives and targets and make continuous improvement. ??.Host HSE Committee regularly to review HSE performance, and work closely with global HSE team ??.Develop and control annual budgets for EHS activities, training, and relevant programs. ??.Other assigned tasks which are required by site leaders. WORK EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES REQUIRED: ?.Bachelor or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent. ??At least 10+ year relevant experiences in multi-national manufacturing environment. Be familiar with ISO14001and ISO45001 standard. ??Rich experience and knowledge of chemical management, emergency response, safety culture built up and implementation of HSE programs. ??Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written on HSE gaps; and can make effective presentations of training and findings. ??Must be able to lead by influence, collaborate across business units, and up and down the organizational hierarchy. ??ISO14001 and ISO 45001 internal auditor qualification and HSE professional certification preferred (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, or country equivalent). ??Self-motivated and independent working spirit and be flexible in response to challengeable places.
