Health and Safety AdvisorJob Location : UAE:•To formulate, develop and monitor the implementation of health and safety policies, systems, procedures and standards for existing activities and new acquisitions/processes within the organisation in order to ensure effective risk management.•Assessing hazards and conducting risk assessments on health and safety as per local authority standards and review them regularly.•To implement and maintain procedures and processes for the reporting, investigation, recording and analysis of injury accidents, dangerous occurrences, near miss incidents and work-related ill health.•To analyse the spot check trends, and proactively work with the teams to look for solutions.•Ensure all departments are aware of H&S policies as set out by the company.•To liaise with Heads of Department to identify safety training needs and ensure safety training programmes undertaken reflect the needs of the business.•Develop department specific inspection and audit programmes.•Proactively assist all departments with regards to their safe working practices and training, encourage solutions focus in tackling issues and helping teams to see their vision & future perfect with relation to H&S.•Identify training needs and work with departments to ensure the holes are filled. Ensuring that training is engaging, and ensure a testing process is in place to test knowledge.
