You will define, evolve, and mobilize the Magnati?s Technology Strategy and agreed digital transformation priorities, drawing on insight gained from inside and outside Magnati, and define and lead the technology transformation required to deliver that Strategy.Accountabilities:

• Coordinate and govern technology and architectural direction in alignment with CTO and other IT Service Lines.
• Accountable for reduction of technology debt and ensuring cost effective approach to technology change
• Lead and own the development of technology transformation priorities and initiatives ensuring good clarity of objectives, outcomes, and value realization plan
• Innovate, investigate, and incubate technology and digital opportunities with lean and start-up approach ensuring technology transformation initiatives are best equipped to drive change
• Develop, evangelize & influence development of standards and partnerships across industry and start-ups where appropriate
• Promote simplification and specification driving industry and service provider cooperation
• Liaise with other IT stakeholders to understand the impact of technology driven change and develop plans to ensure transformation initiatives can be launched successfully
• Identify opportunities for Magnati technology change initiatives; devise strategies and provide leadership for the implementation of those change initiatives.
• Gather, co-ordinate and communicate insight from internal and external sources regarding technology, consumer, and industry trends
• Grow and develop a team that has the skills, knowledge, and experience to identify and initiate major strategic change initiatives

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Experience in Financial Industry
• Experience of leading transformational change in multiple technology and organization environments
• Deep experience of successfully transforming technology and creating new business opportunities
• Data and evidence-based approach to decision making with a creative and driven approach to problem-solving
• Proven ability to convey complex information across multiple audiences, including senior and external partners. Communicate enthusiastically and motivate others by adapting your style to fit the audience
• Collaborative, generous and empathetic. Comfortable to deliver with and through others. You will possess the ability to build team cohesion through understanding team dynamics and interpersonal relationships
• Dedicated to connecting across the organization with an open approach and a willingness to adapt and change
• Fluent in the financial and business implications of particular technology choices and alternatives
• Negotiating and conflict-handling skills to ensure the best outcome for the BBC in the face of complexity and uncertainty
