Ground Operations Controller ( Training & Systems) Ground Operations Controller ( Training & Systems) Location: Abu Dhabi, AE #job-location.job-location-inline { display: inline; }SynopsisPerform a wide range of activities to support the development, review, update, delivery, audit and organization of various ground operations training. Support station start up, adhoc charters, perform audits and ground operational investigations.Accountabilities

  • Perform specialised support and administrative activities requiring knowledge of specific processes and procedures to ensure high quality back office support to operational and training activities
  • Provide operational and training solutions in compliance with local and international requirements
  • Develop and maintain load control, below wing and departure control solutions including turnaround co-coordinator, aircraft dispatch for process, procedure and training including syllabus, presentations, materials and documentations
  • Deliver load control and below wing training and support including adhoc charter, seasonal, lease operations, station start-up and service provider changes
  • Maintain training, license and access records in line with company and regulatory requirements
  • Handle investigations and provide corrective feedback applicable to centralized load control operation
  • Support the complex day-to-day operations ensuring compliance to established processes and procedures, Etihad training standards and industry best practices
  • Comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, regulatory and compliance standard in line with company and regulatory policies
  • Provide SME support for below wing operation and load control systems development
  • Identify training, process, service, quality and system gaps and the relevant coordination with applicable departments in identifying and implementation of relevant solutions
  • Drive and implement improvements and solutions to increase metrics, SLAs and system end user satisfaction while driving modernisation and best practices
  • Manage and achieve objectives, tasks and assignments with focus on safety, accuracy, efficiency and productivity
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Diploma or relevant licence/certification
  • Minimum 5 years operational experience in airport or ground handling operations and/or experience working on departure control and/or reservations system
  • Subject matter expert (SME) with proven demonstrable sound knowledge and relevant industry experience in airport operations preferably gained in 5-10 years working experience in a Below Wing or Ground Operations role with an airline or ground handling agency and departure control and/or reservations system
