We are currently seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our clients team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.About the JobThe Graduate Civil Engineer shall be assigned to a project team working primarily in assisting with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports within Civil Engineering Team remit.Qualifications:* BS Civil Engineering or higher degree * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently * Ability to learn the applicable local standards and statutory and regulatory requirements. * Sound problem-solving competencies with the ability to apply these to different scenarios. * Training/Internship Experience in similar Oil and gas projects is highly desirableMain Skills: Understanding of Civil Engineering fundamentals. Strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally.You will be a valued member of the team from Day 1 and work on real projects, bids and tenders from the getgo. Under the guidance and mentorship of experts and industry leaders, he/she will be equipped with the skills and knowledge and gain hands-on experience. * Working on Basic, FEED or detailed engineering design complied with project requirements * Deliver Civil and Structural engineering services that meet company standards and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. * Assist senior engineers with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports. * Communicates effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders * Ensures proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders. * Adheres to the committed man/hours and budget. * Ensures timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer. * Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project. * Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planningWe request that candidates send their CV as a Microsoft Word document where possible.Quest Search and Selection is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
