General AccountantJob Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesJob Details :•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.•[5+] years of accounting experience•Proficiency in accounting software is a plus (ERP is preferable)•Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial standards.•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•Good organizational and time-management abilities.•Effective communication and interpersonal skills.•CPA, ACCA professional accounting certification is a plus (but not required).Key Responsibilities :•Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries.•Perform month-end and year-end close processes.•Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of account balances.•Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.•Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.•Review and process expense reports and vendor payments.•Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.•Assist in internal and external audits.•Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.•Support the implementation of financial systems or process improvements.
