Job Description

We are currently looking for a Freelance Garment Technologist in the UAE. The successful candidate will oversee every stage of garment production from concept through to manufacture. They will also be heavily involved in helping our creative buying + design team bring our fast fashion designs to life. Working closely with inhouse teams and vendors you will help adapt initial design ideas for production - plus be involved in all aspects of garment fitting and quality related queries.More about the role:

  • You will Work closely with our Buyers, Designers and Overseas Vendors to ensure all quality standards of our garments are met at each stage of the product cycle.?
  • You will create and oversee the implementation of size specs and garment measurement charts and ensure all vendors have a full understanding of the technical guidelines they need to adhere at their end.
  • Manage and oversee all fit sessions, the approval at each stage of the garment sealing process plus the creation and management of library blocks.
  • You will enjoy developing supplier relationships across a newly growing and diverse supply base.
  • You will use your experience to resolve technical related issues on fitting + factory queries on a daily basis.
  • You will help ensure the product labeling is correct in accordance with the type of product + garment.
