Forklift Operator | Retail | IKEA Abu DhabiOverview of the roleResponsible for supporting the operational teams to achieve the overall KPI?s and operational targets and ensure warehouse housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards. With full Health & Safety compliance.Assist in efficient picking, sorting & counting of products against set customer targets and quality standards (accuracy, adherence to agreed processes, presentation of product, information flow). Maintain warehouse housekeeping & general cleanliness˙What you will do

  • Daily offloading and loading of containers and stacking in˙˙˙designated area.
  • Checking of inbound replenishment articles coming into the store
  • Reporting of inbound delivery & discrepancies
  • Accurate reporting of all binned stocks for system updates
  • Palletizing and preparing physical goods for outbound shipments˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙
  • Internal picking from buffer to the picking locations
  • Refilling of showroom activity articles and check out activity˙˙˙
  • Checking, counting, and reporting of stock discrepancies
  • Involved in pre counting and counting at the time of stock take˙˙˙
  • Regular upkeep of the warehouse
  • Regular maintenance forklift lift and other working equipment˙˙˙˙˙˙
  • Daily preparation of the receiving area
