Job Description

Their mission is to create value for our stakeholders through strategic investments, financial prudence, and ethical business practices.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to their strong finance team in Abu Dhabi. The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the companys financial stability, overseeing financial operations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our continued growth.The RoleFinancial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data and maintain an organized system for financial records.
Risk Management:
  • Monitor and manage financial risks, including market risks, credit risks, and liquidity risks.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the companys financial health.
Cash Flow Management:
  • Oversee cash flow planning and management to meet operational needs and investment objectives.
  • Optimize cash utilization and manage working capital efficiently.
Compliance and Audit:
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
The Candidate
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, regulatory authorities, and investors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA/CA qualification is a must.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Financial Controller or similar role, in the investment or banking industry would only be accepted applicants .
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in the UAE.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Arabic language is advantageous.
Salary and BenefitsAED 45,000 - 55,000 a month + company benefits
